Dressing the Big & Tall man is not the easiest thing to do. If you are tall and thin, then most of the clothes at department stores tend to fit you baggy. I am going to talk about the Super Bowl again today. I was talking to some of my friends and we came up with a few of cool ideas for our party this year. You too can have a different Super bowl party this year. It’s true that Super Bowl is mostly about beer and chips, and you can read my post from Friday for ideas on how to save on these. However, for a change of pace you can have everyone find a recipe for a cocktail drink and bring the ingredients for it. Superbowl… Even those of us who don’t know too much about football know all about the Superbowl. This year it will be held at Dolphin Stadium on February 7, 2010 in Miami, Florida. Parties, Friends, Family, Lots of food and drink and great commercials…oh, and football. That is basically what Superbowl is about.
So, you want to throw a great superbowl party? Let me give you some ideas on how to host a great, fun party without spending too much money, there is no need to go broke to just to have a great party. First, have a potluck type party. That way all your friends can bring something and all the food does not run by you. Believe me, people won’t mind chipping in. Also, by having lots of appetisers you can spend less on the main meal since everyone will be less hungry after snacking all day. You can get chips, salsa, party mix, that kind of thing. The research centers and “experts” keep telling us that childhood obesity is at an all time high. We go to the market and every aisle contains junk food. We are too busy to cook healthy organic five course meals. We don’t know how to keep our child or teen from eating unhealthy and becoming part of the “statistic”. So what do we do? I think the trick is to not keep kids from eating sweets and other junk food all together but to teach them to eat them in moderation. Treat your kids like little adults, you’ll be surprised how much they actually understand and learn when you teach them. Forcing them to not eat something is just going to make them want it more. Fill your cuboards and refrigerator with healthy snacks, things they like. This way they won’t miss the sugary, high fat, unhealthy snacks. Show your older kids and teens how to read the nutrition labels, so they can see for themselves the fat and sugar content in the items they eat.

I have been writing for all of you for the past few months for the purpose of trying to help find the best sales and deals online. For you, your family and your kids to be able to afford those things we all want and need but not have to pay the high retail prices. Well today, I am not going to do that. I was reading a magazine last night and there was a recipe I just absolutely have to share with you.
Beef Tenderloin With Blue Cheese Butter
What you need….
1 Beef Tenderloin (about 2 ½ lbs), trimmed & tied
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
½ Teaspoon black pepper
¾ Teaspoon salt
**For Blue Cheese Butter
¼ Cup crumbled blue cheese
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
Preparation
1) Beef: Heat oven to 350 degrees, Pat beef dry and spread with butter. Sprinkle with salt, and pepper and place on wire rack set in rimmed baking sheet. Roast at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until instant-read thermometer register 135 degrees, flipping roast half way through cooking.
2) Butter: While roast is cooking, stir together blue cheese, butter and parsely in a small bowl; refrigerate until ready to use.
3) Remove roast to a serving platter and top with 1/3 of the blue cheese butter. Tent with foil and let roast rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with remaining butter.
